Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of public service quality and work discipline on community satisfaction in Semangus Lama Village, Muara Lakitan District, Musi Rawas Regency. The research employs a quantitative method with a survey approach involving 74 household heads as the research sample. The independent variables in this study are public service quality and work discipline, while the dependent variable is community satisfaction. Data were analyzed using the SmartPLS software to examine the relationships between variables. The results show that public service quality and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on community satisfaction. Indicators such as responsiveness, reliability, and timeliness of service personnel are dominant factors influencing the community’s perception of public services. This study provides essential implications for managing public services at the village level to improve efficiency and service quality, ultimately enhancing community satisfaction.
