ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MINAT MAHASISWA BERKARIR AKUNTAN PUBLIK (Studi Kasus Pada Mahasiswa Akuntansi Universitas Bina Insan Lubuklinggau)
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the factors that influence students' interest in a public accounting career by using the work environment, perceptions, financial rewards, and job market considerations as independent variables and interest in a public accounting career as the dependent variable. This research uses a quantitative method, the sample method used in this research uses a purposive sampling method with a Likert scale. The data analysis technique in this research uses IBM SPSS Statistics version 26 and the respondents in this research were 130 respondents from accounting students starting from the Classes of 2021, 2022, and 2023 from Bina Insan University. The research results show that the work environment (X1), perception (X2), financial rewards (X3), and job market considerations (X4) simultaneously influence accounting students' interest in a public accounting career. This result is proven by the results of the F test, where Fcount = 57.103 > Ftable = 2.44, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that work environment variables, perceptions, financial rewards and job market considerations influence the interest of Bina Insan University accounting students to pursue a career in public accounting.
