Implementasi Algoritma Genetika Dalam Sistem Penjadwalan Mata Pelajaran Di SMA Negeri Tugumulyo
Abstract
The application for scheduling teaching and learning activities using a genetic algorithm was designed and built because of problems that occurred during the schedule making process at Tugumulyo State High School. Based on the results of observations and interviews, the process of making schedules using Ms. Excel takes a relatively long time and errors or schedule conflicts often occur. The genetic algorithm applied in this application is expected to make it easier and minimize time and conflict conditions in preparing schedules. This application is web-based, using the PHP programming language and MySQL Improved database. System development method using Web Engineering. Experimental results show that the genetic algorithm is able to produce better scheduling solutions than conventional methods, by increasing resource utilization and reducing schedule conflicts.
